Telepong
2001-2002
After Fidel Peugeot developed the LOMO fonts from 1997 to 1999, he was commissioned by Lomo founder MATTHIAS FIEGL to work with product designer KARL EMILIO PIRCHER to develop a new type of device for mobile communication.
TELEPONG was defined as a brand. The innovative device was implemented as a prototype with a colour screen with a resolution of 256x128px.
The project was discontinued after the economic crisis of 2001. In 2002, TELPONG became WALKING CHAIR DESIGN STUDIO.
The following font families were developed for the device: TELEPONG Copy Font, T Font & OnOff Font.
